If eating out is your passion, then a handful of doughs in your wallet is a neccessity.
Casual dining restaurant for eating out has stretched to becoming an oviously casual way of feeding yourself during fast-paced business (or busyness) days. For a week of working hard, I usually find myself eating in different restaurants, five or so times, and this WAS the obvious reason to my thinning wallet.
Not anymore, I guess.
Imagine, just this lunchtime, I ordered: a Chicken Caesar Sandwich, an Al Tonno Pasta, Garlic & Cheese Pizza, and a couple of Iced Mocha. The cost of all these in a regular casual dining restaurant would be Php 745.00.
I only spent Php 308.00. Where? At Figaro Coffee Company.
I was never a Figaro dweller, but I must admit, they gave me a reason to try out with their new food discounting concept: The SmartConcept Card for Figaro. Oh please, this is not a advertising ploy from my end; it’s simply a blissful, emotional superblast!

How It Works
The card is a promotional scheme of SmartConcept, Inc. (and I don’t know who they are). For just Php 400.00, you can avail of the card and the 20 coupons, and will automatically be your key to exciting freebies at Figaro. You have to present the card and one to four of the coupons you have before ordering.
Amazing Freebies
- A Php 600.00-value free items – this means you have an instant Php 200.00 “investment return” for your Php 400.00 cash out. This includes: two coupons for cups of Brewed Coffee, two coupons for Iced tea, one coupon for the Green Salad, and one coupon for the Garlic & Cheese Pizza. Only one of these coupons is accepted in a day.
- Six (6) coupons for drink freebies. Present a coupon to receive another drink of equal or lesser value for free.
- Six (6) coupons for food item freebies. Present a coupon to receive another food item of lesser value for free.
- One coupon for Figaro A La Carte. Present this coupon to receive another Figaro A La Carte item for free.
- One coupon for New All-Day Breakfast. Present this coupon to receive another New All-Day Breakfast item for free.
Things That Should Matter
By the time you spread all your coupons in your office table, you’ll know you have an exciting ordeal of choosing what’s for lunch!
I sense that these card and coupons will save me money in my regular eating out (until promo’s expiration date of December 31, 2010). Until then, I have the responsibility of not losing the cards and the coupons, and bringing them whenever I feel like eating out (and only at Figaro, of course). I’m passionate of eating out, so I’m a winner here!
And more than spared money or more foods generated from these saving scheme, I know I have a lot of blessings to share this time.
Food trip begins!
