Go up to cool down.

Sitting inside the room at Hotel Veniz, I was waiting for my officemates, who’ve gone with me at the 2-day e-Learning conference, to complete packing-up. No–going with them to the conference was an enjoyable experience. No matter how hectic our conference schedule was, we still managed to try several restaurants and taste a bit of the cold pine city. From the lowly karenderia in an unknown alley to the good ol’ Mandarin in Session Road, it was an entirely wonderful feel for our taste buds.

But my feet was craving for something else and so I decided to extend my stay for an extra day. I was really eager to see them going out of the hotel.

So I was left alone and the fun continued.

I called my friend and an ever-girlish Emil, who followed me two days behind my travel to the city. I checked out and walked immediately to the Burnham Hotel for the cheapest stay. We met in the afternoon.

And it was an incredible half-day for me at Baguio City. A lunch at Volante Restaurant, a tour at the Strawberry Farm, a pleasure trip and shopping at Tam-awan, and a dinner at SM City Baguio were the feasts.

I truly enjoyed my stay in Baguio with Emil. And it seems that fun begins from someone who truly has it and is able to share it.

That–to me–made all the difference. Not to mention I got all the solo pictures because he’s the one who’s eager taking all of it.
